Rollout of place-based needs assessments

nullThroughout 2017, the Heath and Wellbeing Board has been shaping a programme of work to inform the development of a place-based approach to understanding health and wellbeing needs across the county. This programme is being delivered through the JSNA, and at its meeting on 10th January 2018 the Board approved the next phase of work to produce a suite of place-based needs assessment of the agreed JSNA geographies. This is a two year work programme which started in March 2018 on the first phase of profiles for:

  • North Warwickshire – Polesworth, Atherstone, Hartshill, Kingsbury, Coleshill and Arley;
  • Nuneaton and Bedworth – Central Nuneaton;
  • Rugby – Newbold and Brownsover;
  • Stratford upon Avon – Henley, Studley and Alcester;
  • Warwick – Leamington, Whitnash and Bishops Tachbrook.
  • The work is being sponsored by local members and needs support from a wide range of stakeholders in each area. This will help ensure the profiles reflect the areas they cover; that local knowledge, data and context informs the work; and that key findings are translated into recommendations and realistic actions.

    More information will be shared as the work progresses in the first phase.
