The Year of Wellbeing 2019 is here!

The start of 2019 saw members of the Warwickshire Health and Wellbeing Board stepping up to the Year of Wellbeing by walking a mile around Warwick ahead of the Board meeting on 9th January. Members also visited the Mind Bus in the Market Square, which offers valuable advice and information to people with mental health issues.
The Board meeting then followed the walk and included important areas with a new refreshed Health and Wellbeing Strategy for 2018-20 with a sharper focus on priority areas, feedback from the joint Place Forum with Coventry and Year of Wellbeing, plans for tackling homelessness and mental health issues including suicide prevention, and a presentation on the Education Strategy and the links between Education and Health to support our children and young people.
